ABOUT ME

I have 5 years of experience serving family history clients, and 15 years researching my own ancestry in the records of multiple countries. I frequently use foreign language skills in my genealogy work. I find fulfillment in understanding how ancestors lived and enjoy communicating what their lives can teach us about human experience. I think we flourish when we honor interconnectedness.

Perhaps you are meeting your ancestors for the first time: my skills are suited to help you enjoy the benefits of genealogy while you allow me to worry about the technicalities. It would be my privilege to introduce you to them.

Perhaps you have done some of your own research and encountered a "brick wall": my training and experience might help you discover a solution.

Perhaps you have some knowledge about your ancestors, and you wonder if there is more to understand. With significant experience using records only found at national, state, and local archives, my research might uncover previously unknown stories, context, or details.

As the great-grandchild of eight American immigrants, genealogy has helped me reflect on my past and connect with global history. My favorite ancestor to research is my Swedish great-grandfather who started three different families in between working on merchant vessels that traveled the globe, all of which I've been able to document with unique historical sources and genetic matches. What will genealogy do for you?
